Accountability Groups
Would you benefit from a scheduled weekly study session? Would it be helpful to sit with others who are doing their own studying at the same time?
Accountability groups offer a specific 1.5-hour time block to meet with a peer academic coach (PAC) and three–five students to study, try different strategies and find community.
Accountability groups meet at the same time and place every week with the same group of students. For each session, the peer coach will have you fill out a goal card for the study block. If needed, they can assist in setting a realistic goal and introduce you to different techniques for effective studying. You will spend the session working toward your personal goal, then reflect on your progress at the close of the session. The group will continue for the semester (two absences allowed).
Accountability groups will help you achieve goals and develop behaviors, habits and strategies for college success and life. Our trained staff of peer academic coaches (PACs) are students just like you who want you to feel more confident and empowered.
